Danielle has both AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) Primary (preschool) and Elementary certification which she completed at the renowned AMI training centre in Chennai, India.  She has taught internationally as well as at Nanaimo Montessori School.  Originally from Nanaimo, Danielle is thrilled to be working with the children at Oceanside Montessori School.

Barbara received her certification in Early Childhood Education in 1993/94 and went on to complete the Infant/Toddler Care program in 1994/95 as well as Staff Supervision and Administration in 1996.  As a former student of the Montessori School in Arnhem, Gelderland in the Netherlands, she is thrilled to be in a Montessori environment bringing experience and joy to the classroom.

Oceanside Montessori School is located in a wonderful Bavarian-style building and is located with easy access, perfect for families from Nanoose Bay, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, and Port Alberni. 

Our beautiful classroom is flooded with natural light and has an outdoor deck and grassy play area.  We are fortunate to have an additional Children's Garden which provides a great space for learning about gardening and other outdoor activities.

Our classrooms materials are designed to be natural and beautiful, helping to draw the child's interest. Our playgrounds and gardens are also made with natural materials and untreated lumber to ensure a safe and earth-friendly space for the children.
